The Eight Mandates of a Father:
1. A Father Must must cultivate a sense of family identity.
2. A Father Must must provide an ongoing demonstration of love for his wife
3. A Father Must must understand and respect his child’s private world
4. A Father Must must give his children the freedom to fail
5. A Father Must must be the encourager of the family
6. A Father Must must guard his tongue and tone and learn to measure his response to the excitement of his kids
7. A Father Must needs to show physical affection to his children
8. A Father Must build a trusting relationship based on Truth and not merely man’s wisdom

I came across this fantastic list in a book titled “Growing Kids God’s Way” by Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo. As a young father I found this list profoundly inspiring, challenging and critical. It is also a bit daunting. The role of the father, as I look around this world seems to be eroding. I believe it is an essential role that us critical to holding the very fabric or our families and society together. If you are a father… Join me in living out this “Father’s Mandate.”

  1. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied
on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when
you could be giving us something informative to read?

  2. I was suggested this blog by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as no one else know such detailed about my trouble. You are wonderful! Thanks!
